Suzanne Fronzuto joined the Board in 2019 and serves as Recording Secretary. Many years ago she worked as a nurse’s aide at Our Island Home and more recently visited several residents weekly as a lay eucharistic minister. Suzanne’s mother, Jareaseh St.Jean, was a nurse at Nantucket Cottage Hospital for many years and later in life a resident of Our Island Home until her death. Suzanne is a former special educator with twenty years experience in the Nantucket Public Schools. Presently, she works as a Domestic violence & Sexual assault advocate at A Safe Place, is Program Coordinator for NAMI Cape Cod & Islands on Nantucket, Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Advisory Group, Co-chair for the Special Needs Advisory Group (Nantucket Public Schools), and is co-chair for PFLAG. Suzanne also volunteers with PASCON and Samaritans.
