aka Jennifer Doble Check

Dr. Doble is a semi-retired PM&R physician.  30 years in the field of rehabilitation medicine, which includes elder care and comfort care. Her subspecialty is another board certification of Brain Injury Medicine, and she currently does consulting work for Paradigm, a Trauma Rehabilitation Catastrophic Care management program.  The Doble family has been in ‘ Sconset since the 1950s and has lifelong friends and relatives on the island.  Now semi-retired, Dr. Doble and her husband, Michael Check, will be on the island more (spring, summer, and fall) and are involved in the local community.  

Dr. Doble was involved in the design of acute and sub-acute rehabilitation units, residential care units, and home modification plans.  Her clinical practice mainly focused on brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, trauma care, neurologic diseases (MS, CP, Dementia), and ‘the art of aging gracefully.’
