Alison K. Forsgren moved to Nantucket in 1979 and encouraged her parents to move here after their retirement.  Her father was a resident of Our Island Home and after spending time with him there, looked for a way to enhance the lives for all of the residents in small and caring ways.  She is co-chair of Nantucket Council on Aging, board member of Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, PASCON volunteer and advocates for families impacted by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.  She has been a Realtor on Nantucket for 40 years.
