For many residents, this event is more than just receiving gifts. It’s a chance to feel like they are part of a family, especially for those without loved ones on the island. Debra Bechtold, Dietician at Our Island Home, shares, ”The residents look forward to receiving the gifts from Friends of Our Island Home.“

Having experienced the impact firsthand, Kathy Grieder, President of Friends of Our Island Home, shares, ”My mother was a resident for four years, and she appreciated the work the Friends of Our Island Home did every year at Christmas.“

To ensure the gifts are special and meaningful, we stick to a simple yet effective approach. Our team purchases appropriate gifts locally, wraps them with care, and delivers them personally. As the mission of the Friends of Our Island Home states, we are committed to enriching the daily lives of our residents.
